NCU Training, a division of NCU CLG (Company Limited by Guarantee), has been a shining example of community service since the mid-1980s. In 1998, the organisation expanded its horizons by establishing the Northside Computer Training Centre, a trailblazer providing computer education for emerging job roles. The Training Centre’s rapid ascent was made possible by the community’s unwavering support, leading to a separate management structure in 2003, rebranded as NCU Training. This evolution allowed us to deliver training programs across the greater Dublin area, a testament to the community’s trust and our commitment to their growth.

NCU CLG, a pillar of community service, has recognised the exceptional training provided by NCU Training staff and the unwavering support of its customers. This dedication to excellence has propelled the Board of Management to envision a broader reach through a transformative rebranding. In 2024, we will evolve into Glin National College. This name reaffirms our commitment to delivering top-tier education and training nationwide and symbolises our shift from a training centre to a recognised college, endorsed by Q.Q.I. (Quality & Qualifications Ireland).

Our legacy of community service and provision of quality education and training to individuals from diverse backgrounds is a source of pride. At Glin National College, we are committed to equipping individuals with the skills they need to thrive in today’s competitive job market. We are expanding our reach to offer a broader range of educational and growth opportunities, including our new Professional Homecare Support Skills Q.Q.I. level 5 Major Award. We firmly believe in everyone’s right to access high-quality education, and we are honoured to contribute to the realisation of this vision, ensuring that diversity is at the heart of our educational offerings.
